Environmentalist

An environmentalist is any social agent who is intent on helping to solve an environmental problem. This includes activists, professors, scientists, and politicians, and members of government, environmental protection agencies, other agencies, and NGOs. The term is not limited to average citizens who want to save the environment or grassroots activists, as is so often implied.
